Who is Steve Howe?
Steve Howe is a writer, translator and teacher. He currently lives in Barcelona.
He is not the lead guitarist from the prog-rock band Yes.
But he is making things a little more human at Typeform.
Steve was born in London and lived in various English towns growing up, often seen creating comic books and selling them on the primary school black market, and wheeling around a tuba case double his size.
At the age of 18 he got the travel bug and subsequently spent time living in the USA, New Zealand, China and Peru. After graduating with a BA in Media and Modern Literature at Goldsmiths University, London, he worked for four years in the Social Sector in services for homeless young people, people with learning difficulties and people with mental health support needs.
Steve has teaching experience working with all ages at a top academy in Terrassa, as well as businesses in Barcelona and Cerler Summer Camp for young people in the Pyrenees mountains. Fluent in Spanish, Steve also has translation experience and continues to translate on a volunteer basis for the homelessness NGO, Fundació Mambré.
In his spare time, Steve likes to show Catalans how to play football (if in doubt, boot it out), read and write short stories, practise Catalan, and discover new restaurants in Barcelona.
